The International Center for Autism Research & Education, Inc., Icare4autism, is a global, non-profit organization based in New York City. The groundbreaking non-profit was founded by Joshua Weinstein, Ph.D., M.B.A., in 2004.
Through awareness and funding, Icare4autism works in partnership with similar institutions worldwide to discover the etiology of autism. Icare4autism searches for the biologic and environmental causes of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and promotes various medical and educational practices to best serve people with autism and their families.
Families touched by autism, whom looking for information, are often overwhelmed with the amount of information available. Icare4autism was established to serve the community in this manner. The altruistic organization is an important piece of the puzzle. Icare4autism gathers research projects, professional and scientific collaborations, promotes awareness, provides imperative information, and develops programs for parents and professionals as well as training for teachers and therapists.
The number of children diagnosed with autism is growing by epidemic proportions. A new case is diagnosed every 18 minutes, over 25,000 new cases each year. Icare4autism offers a strong sense of hope for children and families.The organization endorses communication and collaboration between research institutions and public organizations world wide in order to promote early diagnosis and treatment. Icare4autism is the catalyst that drives scientific collaborations globally.

Autism: A Global Perspective
at the International Conference Center (ICC) in Jerusalem, Israel
Following the overwhelming success of the past conferences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NYC in 2011 and in Jerusalem, Israel in 2010, ICare4Autism is once again bringing together top leading medical and educational professionals and researchers working in autism.
The purpose of the ICare4Autism conferences are to share current groundbreaking research into the causes and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders , and to be a catalyst for powerful interdisciplinary collaborations to tackle the global autism crisis.
Dame Stephanie Shirley, The British Government’s Founding Ambassador for Philanthropy, and Chairman of the Shirley Foundation, will deliver the Conference’s keynote address.

2010 אוטיזם כנס בינלאומי
המרכז הבין לאומי לחקר האוטיזם בשיתוף פעולה עם האיגוד הישראלי לנוירולוגיה ילדים, האיגוד הישראלי לפסיכיאטריה של הילד והמתבגר ,איגוד הפסיכיאטרים, איגודי רופאי הילדים ,איגוד הפסיכולוגים והעמותה לרפואת ילדים התפתחותית יקיימו כנס בינלאומי ראשון בישראל המיועד לרופאים, חוקרים אנשי מקצוע בתחום האוטיזם, הורים ומחנכים. הכנס יציע שני מסלולים מקבילים לכל אורכו. הראשון יעסוק במדע וברפואה במסגרתו יוצגו המחקרים המובילים בתחומי הגנטיקה, נוירולוגיה והדמיה, אבחון מוקדם, אפידמיולוגיה ופיתוח תרופות
המסלול השני יעסוק בטיפול ובהתנהגות במסגרתו יעסקו בתכניות ובשיטות לטיפול באיי אס די, תכניות השילוב
השיטות ההתנהגותיות ועוד.
הכנס יהווה מקום מפגש ראשון מסוגו וישתתפו בו מיטב המומחים הבינלאומיים ומומחים מישראל ביניהם חוקרים, רופאים, פסיכולוגים ואנשי מקצוע מתחומים השותפים למאבק באוטיזם, ביניהם: התפתחות הילד, פסיכיאטריה, נוירולוגיה, פסיכולוגיה, קלינאות תקשורת, ריפוי בעיסוק.
הכנס הוא יוזמה של המרכז הבין לאומי לחקר האוטיזם. המרכז הבין לאומי לחקר האוטיזם הינו ארגון ללא כוונת רווח לקידום המידע והמחקר באוטיזם. הארגון נוסד בניו-יורק בשנת 2004 מתוך הצורך לחזק את שיתוף הפעולה המקצועי והמחקרי ולקדם את הידע והמודעות בתחום. מתוך כך, מקדם הארגון הידברות ושיתוף פעולה בין ארגוני מחקר וארגונים ציבוריים ברחבי העולם והוא מוביל ומעורב בפרויקטים של מחקר, ושיתוף פעולה מדעי ומקצועי.
